Consultations are by appointment, available at Seymour Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm and at Avenel Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9:00am – 5.00pm.
Appointments longer than 10 minutes are available on request.
Please let us know of any cultural requirements that may relate to your medical care; an interpreter service can be organised if necessary.
Goulburn River Group Practice offers home visits to our regular patients living within a 30km radius of the surgery, and unable to attend the clinic due to specific reasons. Cost of service will be discussed with the patient at time of booking
You will be advised by the doctor as to the availability of your test results. Please call the surgery and ask to speak to the nurse. You will be contacted by the surgery should you require a follow up appointment
This clinic is committed to preventative care and uses both internal and state reminder systems. Consequently you may occasionally be issued with a reminder notice. Please let us know if you do not wish to be part of this system.
Repeat Prescriptions may be made without an appointment from your doctor if previously agreed upon. An appointment will be necessary if you have not seen the doctor during the past 12 weeks. Repeat prescriptions can also be organised with a phone consult.

Doctors in the practice may be contacted by telephone during surgery hours. If the doctor is consulting with a patient, you may speak with the practice nurse. Otherwise a message will be taken and your call returned as soon as possible.
